Barbecue is my favorite food group. It should be at the bottom of the food pyramid so you can eat the most of it.
It’s not on the food pyramid? Well, it should be.

I made my baby back ribs for my family a few weeks ago. It was the first time the boys had ever eaten real BBQ.
Much to my delight, the boys ate. it. up.

They gnawed on bones. They got good and greasy. Just like a good barbecue eater should.
Dinner time has become quite silly lately.
The boys think they’re pretty funny when they start doing their Ugandan dance.
The girls don’t know the Ugandan dance, so they join in the fun the best way they know how…

Even Lucas joins in on the fun.
Who is that masked man?
My friend, Tracey, made me some baby back ribs last week that were really good. I think I shall steal her recipe sometime soon and claim it as my own. No? Okay, I’ll steal it, but I’ll still give Tracey credit. Too bad baby back ribs are fattening and expensive. I think they’d be on the menu every week if they weren’t.

I was so pleased to see that the boys loved them…they must be related.
